Kano State: Seven major deaths have shaken the state in less than two months

Kano State and Nigeria as a whole continue to mourn the deaths of seven prominent state members who passed away less than two months ago.

The people included the merchants, the kings, the scholars, the politicians and the old papers, who had long been competed in the daily affairs of life.

Aliko Dangote, Africa's richest man, died on November 15.

The funeral was held at the packed palace of the Emir of Kano.

He is a successful businessman and vice-president of Dangote, a leading manufacturer of consumer goods in Africa.

He died at a hospital in the United States, and his body was returned to Kano State a few days later for burial.

He was born in 1959, and died leaving his family.
